The Opportunity
NYC Public Schools and 21st Century Community Learning Centers needed a creative partner to design and execute an annual culminating event that celebrated the achievements of students across after-school programs citywide. The goal was to produce an uplifting, youth-centered experience that showcased student talent, fostered community pride, and left a lasting impression on all participants and attendees. Knowing Epiphany Blue’s stellar reputation for producing engaging and empowering youth programs, NYC Public Schools and 21st Century Community Learning Centers, retained our services to conceptualize, plan, and execute their youth event.
Our Approach
For five consecutive years, Epiphany Blue served as the event partner for the Future NOW! Youth Celebrations, providing comprehensive event planning, creative development, and on-site management. In addition to naming the event, we developed the annual theme and concept, produced the run of show, managed all production logistics, coordinated with vendors, and handled talent management. We also led student outreach and performer selection by identifying, inviting, and confirming after-school organizations whose youth were featured in the celebration.
In 2020, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Epiphany Blue successfully reimagined the live experience into a dynamic virtual celebration. Our team transitioned all programming into an engaging digital format while maintaining the same level of energy, recognition, and student participation.
